Business Law
(6.15pm to 9.30pm for 6 Tuesdays)
This course is designed primarily for those who have an interest in Business Law and wish to develop their general knowledge of basic legal concepts. It introduces the various aspects of law impacting upon the business environment with a view to avoiding legal consequences. This course also incorporates a valuable employment law update session which explores recent changes in employment legislation.
Course Aims & Objective
The modular course provides an overview of the Business Law theories in order to provide a conceptual and practical basis for student learning. It develops on that learning by examining the main techniques involved in managing Business Law. It also encourages students to draw on knowledge from their own experience to develop a clear understanding and practical working knowledge of Business Law
On successful completion of the modular course students will be able to understand the benefits of Business Law understanding. They will have a theoretical framework for the development and evaluation of Business Law concepts and principles and a thorough familiarity with the operational details of Business Law.
Course Structure
Business Law runs over 6 week period. These modular courses are delivered 1 evening per week on Tuesday evening from 6.30-9.30p.m.
