DIPLOMA IN LEGAL STUDIES
Course Introduction
This course is designed primarily for those who have an interest in legal studies and wish to develop their general knowledge of the basic concepts of law, perhaps with a view to pursuing a career in the legal field. It is geared towards graduates from non-legal backgrounds, together with individuals whose activities involve them in aspects of law and legislation who have no formal legal education.

Schedule: 1 evening per week 6.15-9.30pm

Offered twice yearly - in October, and early in the New Year (either January, February or March)
January, February or March 13 weeks intensive + some Saturday mornings
Course Aims & Objectives
The course will provide an introduction to the core aspects of English law and the legal system, as recognised by the legal profession. It will provide participants with a working knowledge of the law which will enable them to examine a series of legal situations and comment on them with confidence.

Assessment
The Diploma in Legal Studies is assessed by end of year examinations.
